Friday evenings are meant for sinking into my family. This is my time to just be still and enjoy the family I work so hard for the rest of the week.
There are times where I want to steal away for a date with my husband but most Friday nights all I want is a reservation for Hopscotch for Two. The end of my sidewalk is as far as I need to venture to enjoy everything I ever wanted.
A friend recently shared this quote,
"If you want to learn what someone fears losing, watch what they photograph."

I photograph childhood like a mad woman because these moments will slip through my hands faster than I realize and I want to have something to hold on to when they do.
This is my contribution to Cherish This Day, see the full post here.
