10 | 366 On The Flip Side
All I remember about the science fair is that my Dad did the experiments and I was pretty much only along for the ride. Now, I find myself on the flip side. Now I'm the parent navigating these waters.
I hope he remembers that the ideas were his, the execution was his but we were there to challenge him to do better and then ask him to try again. It would be easy to just let him run with it and do the minimum. It would be easy to just take over and do it for him. But instead we find ourselves in the messy middle teaching the lesson of always trying your best.
Happy to have this one in the books and fingers crossed some of the lessons learned cross over to next time.
